Ngari Institute of Buddhist Dialectics (NIBD) was founded in UT – Ladakh in Saboo Village of Himalayan Kingdom. The main objective of the society is to empower and enrich the poor and needy children of Himalaya by imparting combined learning center of modern education along with ancient Buddhist Studies.
Since 2006/07 under the leadership of Geshe Tsewang Dorje and other co-members, NIBD accomplished many constructions such as hostels for boys and girls, classrooms and playgrounds, library and medical centers, temple and meditation rooms and guest rooms, by turning the desert land into oasis of learning center.
Until today, many students continue studies in different high schools and colleges / universities away from Ladakh and many more are still pursuing studies at Ngari Institute. We are thankful to our supporters and other organizations and individuals who contributed to those successes, and remembering your kindness in our daily prayer.
This time Ngari Institute will conduct a special prayer “Dharma Deity Puja” presided by Venerable Geshe Tsewang Dorje on Wednesday, 3rd November 2021, dedicating for the wellbeing and long life of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama and all other benefactors of NIBD. Also for the entire people suffering from Covid pandemic and other illness. Dedicating also for individual success. We also pray and hope for the swift containment and complete end to the shattering pandemic and other natural disasters.
