The grand opening ceremony took place from July 31 to August 2, 2022. His Eminence Ganden Tripa Rinpoche Jetsun Lobsang Tenzin presided over the “Jigjet-Lha Choksom Wangchen” (Great Yamantaka Initiation) ceremony for the new monastery after three consecration pujas. His Eminence Rinpoche also granted Dolkar Tsewang (the White Tara Long Life Empowerment) to the local monastic community on August 5th.
