GRAND OPENING CEREMONY OF NGARI JAMGON SHEDRUP THEKCHOG LING MONASTERY

The grand opening ceremony took place from July 31st to August 2nd, 2022. His Eminence Ganden Tripa Jetsun Lobzang Tenzin Rinpoche presided over the "Jigjet-Lha Choksom Wangchen" (Great Yamantaka Initiation) ceremony for the new monastery after three consecration pujas. His Eminence Rinpoche also granted Dolkar Tsewang (the White Tara Long Life Empowerment) to the local monastic community on August 5th. Click on "View Photos" to see images of the event.

The Story of Ngari Institute Of Buddhist Dialectics

Under the leadership of its current President, Geshe Tsewang Dorje, the Institute currently provides free education, food, and shelter for 58 children, with the promise to keep educating them until graduation from high school level.
